The digital camera and the digital darkroom make photography the most ubiquitous of all art forms. The artist photographer can be a reporter, portraitist, illustrator and create impressionist, abstract, futuristic art, and much more.

We try to make sense of a world that is never the same and never stands still. Many photographers freeze a moment in time to capture what they saw and experienced. That is just one aspect of what photography can do.

Intentional Camera Movement (ICM), infrared photography, multiple exposures, and the digital darkroom are tools that I use to share the emotions and feelings that prompted me to press the camera shutter at that moment. I do not follow the “rules” to achieve my artistic vision.

These images convey my emotional response to the event or scene at that unique moment in time, and I invite the viewer to share my vision and journey.
